HANDS-ON GAMING: Introduction to Coding and Maze Game Design

Prerequisite: Core 1 Completion
In this course, the instructor will introduce students to the basics of computer programming, graphic arts and maze game design. Through the use of Lego blocks and Pixel Art computer software programs, students will learn how to plan and design their own games (up to three levels of difficulty). Coding also helps develops students’ critical thinking and math skills. This class culminates with a fun, interactive experience when students play their game creations with their classmates. **Bring your own laptop or use one of ours.
